Delivery
We deliver within a 35km radius of Newcastle, NSW, Monday to Saturday, from 4PM to 7PM. While we strive to meet the selected delivery date, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time. A delivery fee will be added to your order total at checkout. If the recipient may not be home during the delivery window, we recommend providing a business address. To ensure successful delivery, please ensure the recipient is available to receive the package or leave an esky outside the residence if necessary.
Unattended Deliveries
If no one answers the door, we will do our best to leave the dessert box in a safe place, provided there is no risk of the product being affected by weather elements. We will then text the recipient to notify them of the delivery.
Please leave specific instructions in your delivery note if you have a preferred spot for the delivery. If the recipient won’t be home, we recommend advising us of a safe place to leave the dessert box.
Customers must provide clear and accurate delivery instructions when placing their order,.
We retain records for proof of delivery and are not liable for any loss or damage arising from parcels being left safely and securely at unattended premises or due to incidents involving returned, melted, infested, or undelivered products.
Wrong Address
If the customer's delivery address is incorrect or insufficient details are provided, we cannot accept responsibility for any resulting loss. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate details when placing the order.
When an incorrect address is supplied, the box will be directed back to us and will be available for re-delivery the next day at the customer's cost. If we attempt a second delivery the next day and fail to deliver to receipient, the box will be disposed of, as products will no longer remain fresh. We are committed to delivering all products at the highest quality and will decide at our discretion whether to dispose of any redirected products once returned.
Re-delivery on the same day cannot always be guaranteed.
In the case of an incorrect or incomplete delivery address, it is the customer’s responsibility to decide whether they would like to purchase another box and have it delivered to the correct address on a different day at their cost.
Delivery Schedule
While we always strive to meet our delivery schedule, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may lead to minor delays. Although we cannot take responsibility for these situations, please be assured that we make every effort to ensure your goods arrive on time.
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date. However, orders that are already prepared, dispatched, or in transit cannot be cancelled or refunded. Cancelling an order will incur a $15.00 administration fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date are void. The cancellation notice must be sent via email to newcastldesssertboxes@gmail.com.
Orders cannot be cancelled on the day of delivery.
We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances. Store credit may be issued instead.
Product
Newcastle Dessert Boxes is not responsible for the content of messages sent from a sender to a recipient. Messages are not altered or censored and are delivered exactly as requested by the sender.
Product design, colors, flavors, and items may vary from the images displayed on our website at our discretion.
Liquor Information
Any alcohol included in our boxes does not exceed 2 liters and is intended to be delivered as a gift. The boxes are packaged and presented specifically as gifts, clearly indicating their gift nature. Delivery of these gifts is restricted to an adult recipient other than the purchaser.
For all gifts containing alcohol, please ensure the recipient is over 18 years old and available to receive the delivery. ID will be required upon delivery.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver within Newcastle and Maitland LGA(Local Government Area).
What days/times do you deliver?
We deliver Monday to Friday between 4PM and 7PM, Saturday 11AM to 4PM.
During our busy periods, please be aware that orders may be delivered before or after this time frame.
What happens if no one is home?
If no one answers the door, we will do our best to leave the box in a safe place only if there is no risk of the product being impacted by the elements. We will then text the recipients to let them know there is a delivery by the door.
Please leave a delivery note if you want your delivery in a specific spot. If the recipient won’t be home, kindly advise where we should leave the box when placing the order.
Do you offer pick ups?
Yes, we absolutely offer pick-ups for your Dessert Boxes! However, please note that this service is available only on designated days as our kitechen is located an hour from Newcastle. If you would like to pick up your order, please email us newcastledessertboxes@gmail.com for further information.
Can I place a corporate / event order?
Yes absolutely! Our Dessert Boxes make the perfect gift for clients, staff and celebrations.

Can I customise a box?
Yes! We offer an option to customize your box via the add-on function.
Our team has spent a lot of time ensuring our dessert boxes are perfected. If you wish to customize specific boxes further with a color or theme please email us at newcastledessertboxes@gmail.com to discuss if this is possible. Additional fees may apply. Please note, customization is only available for orders of 10 or more boxes.
What if I need to request a delivery time?
If you would like to request a specific delivery time, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, due to the high volume of deliveries, we cannot always guarantee an exact delivery time.
Can you deliver to an apartment or unit complex?
Yes, we do deliver to apartment or unit complexes! However, someone must be home to accept the delivery, as we cannot leave the box unattended in front of an apartment complex.
What happens if I provide you with an invalid address?
If the address provided is invalid, we will do our best to contact you using the provided phone number. If we are unable to do so, we will arrnage a re-delivery for the same day where possible.
Do your boxes contain traces of nuts?
Yes, our boxes may contain traces of nuts. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee our products will not contain traces of nuts.
